1. Scope
These terms of use apply to the use of the website www.halbinselau.com, including all sub-pages and language versions (the «website»). By accessing the website you accept these terms. Our General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply in addition to table reservations, room bookings, events and vouchers.
2. Content of the website
We compile the content of this website with the greatest care. Information on menus, prices, opening hours, rooms, events and offers is provided for general information only and is not binding. Changes, errors and misprints are reserved. Offers shown on the website do not constitute a binding offer to enter into a contract; a contract is concluded only once we have confirmed it.
Images of dishes, function rooms and guest rooms are examples and may differ from the actual product.
3. Liability
We give no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of the content of this website, nor as to its uninterrupted and error-free availability. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude any liability for damage arising from access to the website, its use or the impossibility of using it. Liability for unlawful intent and gross negligence remains reserved.
4. Links to third-party websites
This website contains links to third-party websites, for example to booking, reservation, voucher and ticketing platforms or to social networks. We have no influence over their content, for which the respective provider is solely responsible. At the time the links were set, no unlawful content was known to us. If we become aware of any infringement, we will remove the link concerned.
5. Booking, reservation and voucher services
For table reservations, room bookings, voucher purchases and ticket sales we use services provided by specialised partners, in particular aleno (table reservations), FirstVoucher (voucher shop) and Mews (room bookings). Our GTC apply to contracts concluded with us. The respective provider’s terms apply in addition to the use of their platforms (for example a customer account in the voucher shop). Tickets for third-party events (for example dinner crime evenings) are sold directly by the respective organiser or ticket provider; only their terms apply.
6. Virtual concierge (AI assistant)
We offer a virtual concierge via WhatsApp. It is an automated assistant based on artificial intelligence, not a member of our team. Use is voluntary; our staff is of course also available to you personally at any time.
The concierge’s replies are generated automatically and may be incomplete or incorrect. Only written confirmations of reservations and bookings and information given by our staff are binding. For allergies, intolerances or other health-related questions, please always contact our staff directly. Using unlawful, offensive or otherwise inadmissible content in the chat is prohibited.

7. Copyright and trademarks
All content on this website, in particular texts, photographs, graphics, logos and videos, is protected by copyright and, where applicable, trademark law and belongs to Landau AG or to the respective rights holders. Any reproduction, distribution, modification or other use beyond private use requires our prior written consent, unless the law provides otherwise.

We may amend these terms of use at any time. The version published on the website at the relevant time applies.
10. Governing law and place of jurisdiction
Swiss law applies exclusively, to the exclusion of its conflict-of-law rules. The place of jurisdiction is, to the extent permitted by law, the registered office of Landau AG in Wädenswil. Mandatory places of jurisdiction, in particular for consumers, remain reserved.

These terms are available in German and English. In the event of any discrepancy, the German version prevails.
